Hello!
I'm Lynette Allcock Yoon, a teacher in Korea, Christian writer, and former radio host. I write from an expat, TCK perspective.
I love helping fellow wanderers feel seen and heard, helping them move from feeling overwhelmed and uncertain to overcoming the challenges and finding the beautiful in their cross-cultural experience.
Living abroad (and growing up in different cultures) is a curious mix of pain and pleasure.
Culture shock. Loneliness. Awkwardness. Feeling out of place. Wondering where you belong. Wondering if you're making a difference.
But there is also learning, adventure & excitement, growth, exploration,
new friendships, and new perspectives.
Sometimes the hard times feel overwhelming.
There is a way through, and beauty still to be found.
